The point is I’ve seen PB from the eighties, still working fine.
Seen single strand al wiring from the seventies, with no conversion to cu-al switches/outlets and no fires.

Point is we can’t provide anything more than vague statements to cover our asses.
Cause there is nothing definitive. K?

That video is a very good example of how these myths grow out of control and how consumers are scared with no justifiable reason.

The FPE breakers took longer to trip, but that doesn’t mean they were falling outside of acceptable parameters. From what I saw in that video, these breakers worked just as they are expected to.
