Firewall in garage?

If the vertical wall above the garage in the garage attic is not drywalled but the garage ceiling is drywalled, does the ceiling act as a firewall?

And, if the garage has a pull-down ladder, do these pull-down ladders commonly suffice as part of the firewall?

(I did not see a fire rating on the ladder apparatus)

Yes - No
Drywall ceiling in garage (typically 5/8") is OK for firewall. Attic access pull down stairs should be fire rated if there is no drywall separation in attic. A 30 minute fire rating is required in my area.
