Just a heads up, OSHA changed its fixed ladder rules for ladders exceeding 24 feet, and builders have already started installing the features that will be required everywhere by 2036. These features include personal fall arrest systems. Also, cages will no longer be considered “fall protection.” Drop dead date for full compliance is 2036. Any ladder that gets installed or modified between now and then has to be compliant.
