I just did an inspection on a house with floor joists that are spaced at 32” on center. I can find where charts show the spacing at 16 or 24 OC but not 32. Is this against code or just a recommendation?
It is usually stamped on the 4’x8’ sheet…floor then roof spans.
How old is the home?
They are probably not going to tear the floor apart, but just put a note in your report of the spacing.
