I have not seen this type of system before–I am sure it is all right with no support on the bottom of the floor joists. Just double checking.

I disagree. The detail you pointed out shows a top chord bearing truss. Notice on the detail that there is a vertical web at the end from the top chord to the bottom and the top chord is doubled.

The trusses in the photo do not have the vertical webs. My guess is that they were cut because they were too long. The remaining webs are not what I typically see on a top chord bearing truss.

I would recommend and engineered repair if it is even possible.
