Is that DOH as in Homer Simpson? He worked at a nuclear power plant.

DEP
Department of Environmental Protection
DOH
Department of Health
Not sure where you found Homer in that post…
I’d like to clarify this, I NEVER drink scotch. I drink Beer, everbody needs a hobby and it helps me maintain a sense of humor when all others lose their’s.
What does Homer say when things go wrong? Doh! I got it, there is no scientific study or evidence that radon levels in homes pose a risk or concern to human health therefore the DOH would distance themselves and not take action. The EPA on the other hand is a politically directed entity devoid of scientific reason and acts at the whim of influence from the highest bidder.
?? I never was a fan…
Florida DOH
It is nonsense John, levels in mines pose a hazard. levels in homes are insignificant to health and the evidence provided by a multitude of studies is that the areas where the levels are elevated show a significant decrease in lung cancer. EPA was bought out by interests that stood to profit.
I know…
You Know…
But…
You are not supposed to mention that…
Personally I believe it has more to do with Radon attaching to other items, like cigarette smoke and then decaying in your lungs. That is one reason why second hand smoke can be really bad for some and not others.
Did you read the BEIR VI report?
World Health Organization (WHO), the National Academy of Sciences, the US Department of Health and Human Services, the State DOH and the Surgeon General all have more knowledge than me.
Why is it that many say there is no radon in our area, but last time I checked 32905, 51% of the homes had a higher than 4pi/l. Somebody is lying. I will check some and let you know.

Hello?
is there a question?
Some believe in it and some do not…
All I know is what I read from the “experts”. I would rather go to court stating the following entities publicly aknowlede Radon is bad for you and the EPA has set a standard.

Or I could just say Brian Hoagland thinks its BS…The choice is yours…
Not in my mind. You can know now or find out later. I report you decide.
??
so you suggest you blindly offer the service and provide your clients with no information in their purchase decision?
I am not licensed to give opinions on radon(two levels of licensing in Florida). I am licensed to test only. So yes, pretty much other than citing other publications.
if you find that works for you…
Not necessarily, but that is what the law allows.
The law prevents you from using recorded data that is published on the Government website.
Only in Florida…
No, I said I can not give an opinion.
Wow, Joe, you are on a roll!
Radon is OK.
Chinese drywall is OK.
I guess mold is OK too.
Everything is beautiful…:mrgreen::mrgreen:
There must not be much happening in PA?..
