Had 5 ft. of pipe off a furnace in an attic. Has been like that for 2 yrs.

I have Code check books, but did not see any support info on B Vent.

You didn’t really miss it…the IRC or other full codes may lay it-out, but Code Check, under “Oil & Gas Venting, Gas-Appliance Venting” states only that the flue should be “adequately” supported, and only then in Figure 60.
