Yes...the little troublemaker still lives. He loves extension cords...that's his fourth he's chewed up. and a dozen duck decoys in the last week also...sort of like the terrible two's

That’s just Labs, we had a string of 'em when I was a kid. They chew things up for about the first 5 years. If you can deal with it they’re great, great dogs to have around.

Plug the cord in, then give it to them to chew on.
They will learn very quickly not to chew on those things with that first bite through the insulation.

Years back I had a Rott. Left her with a friend who’s home was on a conventional foundation. It cost a fair amount to replace the live NM she chewed up. I think she got a charge out of it.

I have a lab who I picked up off the street when it was about 8 months old. I've had it for 2 years and it has never chewed any personal possesions. I keep a variety (4 or 5 different) of chew bones on the floor at all times so, maybe that helps! Every Husky or Husky mix I've had chews on anything, especially metal.

Yeah, them labs are something. My lab ingested my wife’s panty hose a few years ago and when he could not “pass it” your truly had to get some latex gloves and…well… nuff said…
They are great dogs though, even after that experience.
