Can someone please date this furnace for me? (I’m thinking 1988)

Owner of the house claims it is 9 years old.

Manufactured in 1987. Maybe the seller meant that he bought it when he was 9 years old.:wink:

10 years ago it was installed and was a unit that was stocked for five.
Homeowner thinks it was new when installed. This is very common in SSM On.
Just last week homeowner said he was positive it was a new unit.
Turned out to be 10 years old.:smiley:
