GEC length of run

Is there a maximum length a GEC can run from the service to the grounding electrode?
This GEC comes from the meter, loops down to the intersystem bonding strip, and then up into the attic to the other side of the home.

I’m guessing the ufer was installed on that side thinking that’s where the panel would go.

There is no limit .
They stuck the rebar out the wrong side so that had to run it that way. When I build a house I have them stick the rebar out both sides.

There is no length limit. You can see the irreversible splice above where the GEC enters the ground. There is no rebar stub just a short piece of copper sticking out of the ground coming from the CEE and later spliced to run around the house. Looks like there is an expansion fitting missing on the PVC service conduit.

Like Robert said, no length limit, but designwise it should be as short and as straight as possible with no hard bends.

In Florida the slab rebar has to be part of the common ground.

Yes. A whole bunch of reasons for that. But adding, the wire going through the attic will have no apparent purpose and could get cut in a future remodel. Nothing would seem go wrong, yet, a hazard would be created.
