If the balusters are properly installed they will add rigidity to the rail system.

That horizontal rail has to have a splice somewhere that would weaken it’s capability to meet the 200# requirement, but maybe it is the picture that makes it look a mile long.
I would say it needs a post at least in the middle.

It could be the picture, but it does look awfully long to go without a post. Did you measure the overall length?

I’ve built those. The rail comes in any length you order. Factory finger joints are stronger than the wood itself. It is fine.
