Experienced and Entry Level Licensed Home Inspector for Illinois, Chicagoland
This position works directly with the public, home buyers, realtors, etc.
Established home inspection company currently seeking a Chicagoland based Illinois licensed home inspector. (Open to newly licensed and in the process or applying for license) We cover the Chicagoland Metropolitan area. Ranging from downtown to the suburbs. We service our territory seven days a week. Office located in Naperville, IL.

InterNACHI membership a must. Licensed Radon Technician is a plus and added compensation.

Applicant must meet the following requirements: Experience in inspections and housing rehabilitation, construction, or related fields.

Be Illinois licensed or applying for a license, have computer skills, have a vehicle, and own required inspection tools.

Have outstanding customer relation skills in dealing with both positive and negative situations.

Detail oriented.

Good team player.

Meet our physical requirements.
Physical Requirements: Be able to comfortably walk a roof, use a ladder unassisted, and crawl in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics. Perform frequent, extensive, and prolonged walking over rough and uneven surfaces. Getting in and out of vehicles multiple times throughout the entire workday. May require regular and prolonged bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling while working in confined spaces. Tasks require lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Tasks require operation of hand tools which involve fine motor skills, coordination, and strength. Requires color, sound, depth of field, and visual perception. Tasks include operating handheld computers and regular computer equipment. Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Have the ability to write and articulate concepts. As well as demonstrate skills in spelling, grammar, and moderate typing skills.
Work Environment: Will be varied and you will be required to work in all weather conditions.
