HomeTeam Inspection Service of Southwest Orange County California is hiring

Our business is continually growing and we are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who possesses exceptional customer service skills and that believes in educating the customer in an easy and enjoyable experience.

This is a part time position leading to full time position with benefits for the right candidates.
Starting pay will be based on experience, qualifications and what you bring to the position. Our ideal candidate is someone that has been in the industry for 2 or more years, has a great reputation in the real estate community and who is currently a Certified Home Inspector through InterNACHI.

The HomeTeam approach of using two or more inspectors for every inspection means our inspections are generally under 2 hours and we perform up to 3 inspections per day.

We supply all tools, safety equipment, and uniforms and pay mileage. Our office takes care of all bookings, scheduling, complaints, etc.

We are looking for people in the North OC area.

• InterNACHI Inspector Certification completed, or the candidate is willing to train, study and become certified during the training period of the hiring process.
• Home Inspection or other industry related experience (2 years minimum)
• Customer Service Experience
• Sales Experience
• Experience/Skills in more than one of the following:
Building, Construction, Maintenance, Plumbing, Electrical or HVAC

• Exceptional Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
• Be teachable/coachable and adaptable to working the HomeTeam way
• Strong attention to detail
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to actively listen and remain calm under pressure in confrontational situations
• Ability to interpret and analyze data
• Be a problem solver
• Ability to conduct conversations confidentially and effectively with customers and real estate agents
• Ability to provide excellent customer service, anticipating and exceeding the needs of customers and real estate agents
• Must possess a great attitude, good presence, and professional appearance
• Integrity, responsible and outstanding work ethic
• Punctual, dependable and ability to work unsupervised
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn company utilized software programs
• Ability to complete a customer’s home inspection report within 16 hours of the inspection appointment
• Must be able to climb ladders, carry tools and walk on roofs
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions and stand for long periods of time
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance to travel to scheduled inspection appointments
• Available to work weekends
• Physically capable of inspecting confined spaces including crawl spaces and attics
• Candidate must successfully complete training as well as InterNACHI’s online educational training and certification program
• Ability to tolerate and adapt to fast-paced, high-pressure and occasional high-stress
• Must be able to lift or carry 20+ pounds

• Ability to communicate (speak) in a language other than English
