Hot water flow stuttering at sinks

Air in the hot water lines.
Air in the piping needs to be cleared.
As for Marcel Cyr’s post. The only way to reset the device and restore water flow is to turn off the water supply valve under the sink (i.e., the supply valve to which the FloodSafe hose is connected), disconnect the hose from the supply valve, open the faucet (a small amount of water still trapped in the hose will drain out They are rated 3 stars.
Thanks Marcel.

Had something similar to this (but not that bad). It was due to a defective Water Pressure Regulator (reducer). The regulator was also making a very strange, high pitched hammering/squealing noise. If possible I would have someone listen at or feel the Regulator when the water is turned on. and see if it feels or sounds like it is hammering.

I inspected a house last week with the same issue. What it turned out to be was the water filtration system. The system has an air pump on it. There was a pressure release valve on the filter tank that was not operating. This then pushed air into the water lines, and only effected the hot water. Plumber said that hot water expanded the air and it was causing the problem. He replaced the pressure valve on the filtration tank and the problem went away.

I’m reading through all these posts and thinking to myself it could be one of maybe a half a dozen conditions that can cause this water stutter. I’ve never seen it before so I’m very curious to what the actual cure will be.

Looks like flood safe water lines in the pic. The video gave me a good laugh. Removed the lines and problem may go away.
