How do I get my license number

I’m in the final stages of getting my license for the state of Mississippi. I have the certification that I’m a certified home inspector but now when I go through the state it’s asking for a license number how do I go about acquiring this? Thanks in advance

In Mississippi, you need to take and pass the National Home Inspector Exam, submit your application with the applicable fees and proof of your insurance coverage to the state requirments. Once this is done it will take a few weeks for the state to approve it as long as everything is in order. Then you will receive your license. This will allow you to inspect pre-existing homes. To inspect new construction in MS, you need to have the “NH” designation which requires an ICC code certification and a few more steps.

I hold a license in MS as well as TN.
