This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://www.nachi.org/webinars/2020/how-to-keep-your-inspection-schedule-full-with-shane-boyd

This was a fun webinar. Shane’s presentation was focused on a marketing strategy that leveraged a now unique and special way of communicating. Snail mail. He had an interesting tip in writing letters in the voice of a small child. Hm. Shane also provided a major discount for some services he provides exclusively for InterNACHI® members. Check it out. You’ll enjoy it. Be sure to check out nachi.org/gifts.

Shane spoke about writing copyright, I’d like to recommend this book: How To Write A Good Advertisement: A Short Course In Copywriting

by Victor O. Schwab

Great read, and a lot of examples.

Nice. I recommend using the InterNACHI® home maintenance book to create scripts of short promo videos.

If you want to make short videos (to put on YouTube or Facebook or Instagram), but you don’t know what to say, use the home maintenance book. It’s filled with short tips on home maintenance, like “check this,” “monitor that,” “adjust this,” “be sure to do that,” etc.

There’s an entire year’s worth of 30-second scripts in the home maintenance book. Feel free to use it for your videos.
