Interesting…

I have several of these social sites started. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. My biggest issue is simply posting to them on a routine schedule. I find myself going months with no post and then I try to make up for it.
2019 I need to work on more consistency.

From the article, I like reading, “One creative way to use live video on Instagram is to interview a satisfied client after one of your jobs.” Video testimonials are powerful.

I have found that most of my Instagram followers are other home inspectors. Not surprising really. I wouldn’t expect a person in that narrow window of home purchasing decision making to seek or follow a home inspector. So in my opinion, the hashtags are what are important. These are the means get your post visible in other feeds. While I’m still finding a set that gets me in front of the right audiences, I think of them in terms of the target audiences frame of mind. #yourhometown, #realtorcmpanyinyourarea, #homebuying, #newhome, #homeinspection, etc etc. As you type them in, a list should popup of the #'s with the most use.

It’s all voodoo really.

I personally think they’re cheesy. They sound so fake/rehearsed and like the person shooting the video is pointing a gun at them telling them what to say and to say nice things

Yeah, they aren’t professional actors. Make a testimonial video of yourself and watch it. It’s not easy. Best to have a third party film a natural conversation. Seems like people are better at talking to other people than to cameras.
