Nice truck! I am glad to hear the discount came thru. I am planning on getting the electric version Ford Lightening next year. The discount will be a big help. (and hopefully tax incentives apply as well).

I do too. I have been selling some on this latest run-up though. I am hoping it drops back down some so I can buy more back. There will be a nice bump when they re-instate the dividend.

I have to say that Ford is the only, of the big 3, that didn’t take any government $ back when the shit hit the fan, I believe.
I have many family and friends that won’t buy anything but Ford because of that.

What are your thoughts on the Ecoboost? I know you just got it but let us know the gas mileage after you’ve broken it in.

I have a 2018 f150 2.7L Ecoboost with 27k miles. I average just over 20 mpg daily driving to inspections around Atlanta. Hwy, I use the eco mode and get just over 22 mpg. It has several driving modes, my two favorites are “eco” I use on the hwy and “sport” when I just want to haul ass. It’s a quick truck and fun to drive.
But, it does not have that raw power feel that my 5.6 L Nissan Titan has.
