At the launch of the Appalachian (WV/PA/OH) Chapter last night, three members (who drove several hours, after a day of inspections) came up to me, wanting to create chapters in Richmond, VA; Emmitsburg, MD; and Huntington, WV.
Additionally, I was overwhelmed by feedback from real estate agents in the area who mentioned that NACHI is establishing a baseline of respectability in the region, which had been soured on carry-a-ladder-and-flashlight “inspectors”.
I looked into this, YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE A WEBSITE! (at least not one listed in www.nachi.org/profileintro.htm) Why do you expect to get leads from the web without a website??? Next to air and a flashlight, you need a website to survive in this business… you at least need a website to expect leads from one. And Ben, don’t forget to add www.nachi.org/webseal.htm
My name is Roman Belan, I work for Delfi Kinnisvara - Estonian Real Estate **company (*http://city24.delfi.ee](http://www.nachi.org/forum/)). I got to know about your organization **while searching for an information on real estate inspection. Your image *gallery and message board was a great help! Thank you!

I was under the impression they were found on the “find an inspector” part of this web-site nick. I live in a rural, blue collar area. Have few competitors because I was the first one in HI almost 6 years ago. The ones I have now have no web-site, and there is no need for me to have one either. Due to the fact in a smaller areas fewer people use the web for service. ( It holds true to my area)
Again I thought it was from “Find an inspector” Not their personal web-sites. If websites are working for them that is great, I am *surviving *off of service, reputation, and repeat business.
Ben, get the free website NACHI offers at www.InspectorPages.com (it only takes a few seconds) and then go to www.nachi.org/profileintro.htm and put the URL in your website field. If you can’t figure out how to do it I can do it for you.

*I just returned from a great weekend of fun and learning in the mountains of West Virginia at Cheat Lake. I just wanted you to know how enjoyable and informative the chapter meeting and two days of instruction were. I want to personally thank you for having enough interest in our area to sponsor this event. This weekend alone was more than worth the cost of the event and my year’s dues for NACHI. *
I am looking forward to the meeting in June and further training in Radon. Thanks again David M. Haught

Last month you sent me handouts to distribute to realtor offices. The response was GREAT!! I'm educating realtors about NACHI and they want more. I'm getting calls everyday for inspections even though our market is depressed. Can you send me more handouts? If you have more than one type, I'd love to have them all. Could you send me 500 of each type that you have?
Handouts? How can I get some handouts?
Nick, I attended the convention in Orlando and it was wonderful. My only regret was I didn’t get to meet you.I have been a home inspector since 1984 and this is without a doubt the best thing to ever happen to a home inspector, that is being a member of NACHI.I have only been a member for three months and I have still not found out everything you have to offer but I am working on it.Thank you for re- kindling my desire to do home inspections.

Contact lisa.endza@nachi.org for the brochures. Here is an older version of 3-Mistakes: http://www.nachi.org/3mistakes She generally likes to ship a ton of them to you if you are doing a REALTOR Expo.
Just wanted to let you know that I received the banner that Cheryl Nordby prepared. I am very pleased with the way it looks. I’ll be sure to send you pictures of the display.
Thank you very much for the help and effort you put into NACHI.

*Thank you! It’s perfect! And now finally, my husband just became a member. Your organization has done more for me than any school or outside help has *done. Appreciate it!
About two months ago I moved my website to a new host with many more features. One of the features is the ability to resolve the web site address of those who visit my website, and the website they linked from.
Last month I received six links from InspectorSeek.com. All six of those links turned into inspections! My website in total was responsible for more than fourteen inspections last month! Two of those were linked back to my free web page from Nachi.org. A real key is that my web site has a “Request a Quote” page that sends prospective client information to me in real time, so I can react quickly when someone requests information.
*No matter how you figure it, in total I have eight inspections in one month directly tracable to NACHI efforts to promote the membership! *
Thank you so much for helping my business become a real success!
