I am thinking about modernizing and using a snowboard. Maybe we can get a bunch of us together in an old wooden tabogan & hit some good pitched roofs.

I am 57 years old and have lived south of Houston all my life, except for the 3 years in the military and 1 yr. in Louisiana; and I remember seeing it snow here maybe three times! My friend in southwest Tx. said he had never seen it snow, but he did say it rained once!

Hello All,

It was 80 here today and a beautiful day for the race. When you are watching the 500 on Sunday think of me I will be in that mass of people. Try to stay warm up there.

Greg,

Did you get rained on at the 500! icon_smile.gif HA Oh, wasn't that one a 250 or there about?

Sorry, I just couldn't help myself. I personally would love to live in disney world for the rest of my life, if not longer.

What part of FL do you live in, if you don't mind my asking?

Just watching the news and thinking how all you folks that enjoy inspecting in the snow back east are ecstatic. Me, guess I’ll just have to reconcile myself to looking at my tulips that are coming up early due to the weather.

Bob,

You are absolutely correct about the snow here in PA. Looks about 2 feet deep right now and still going (just like the energizer bunny)! icon_smile.gif

I will keep you posted on the final amount of the white stuff.

Joe M,

About time you shmucks down there in the southern end of the state get some real snow. Now you can go use a snow shovel to dig the perimeter of a sand mound looking for dye & probing. Start shoveling a spot off the roof so you can see it and earn your pay! Now excuse me while I go shovel around the perimeter of the house as the total accumulated snow from this season (which has never left, 50+ days of snow covered roofs) is above the foundation and along side the siding now!

BTW- How many inspections did you cancel today?

Jeff

Jeff,

HA HA. Just so happens I like the snow and it doesn't bother me a bit the house is buried up to the roof. icon_smile.gif

Anyway...I am smart, I didn't schedule any inspections today. icon_razz.gif

Greg,

Can I get some information from you on doing inspection is Florida? Hopefully I will be moving down there with you in the next year or so. I just wanted to know the basics, such as do you have licensing in Florida for home inspection, radon testing, termite cert, septic certs....and so on.

I think they modified you building requirements since you have the tornadoes and the such.

Any help would be a big one and sincerely appreciated.
