Your graphic indicates that the home is "fully enclosed” and that …… the attic is a conditioned space.

That means… that the attic will be “conditioned” to have the same “heat & humidity” in the summer and… the attic will be air conditioned in the summer.

I have found that 99% of the attics only have insulation between the floor joists and do not have insulation in the rafters.

  • This means that it is an “Un-conditioned” space.

Am I wrong or … should the [FONT=Arial]air barrier and thermal alignment](http://www.nachi.org/gallery/insulation_and_energy/general/air-barrier-thermal-alignment.jpg) [/FONT]graphic have ended at the ceiling of the 2nd floor?:wink:
