Is this a plumbing vent stack on a TPO roof? It’s a commercial building.
It’s probably some type of vent. Being commercial, I suppose there’s a possibility it is for something other than plumbing though.

Yeah, I just grabbed one for illustration…but they have them for all types of covering materials.

What ever is services I can not make out the stripping.
