I was on a Delta Flight to Atlanta around 20 years ago and Jimmy Carter was on the plane. We stayed parked at the gate an extra 10 minutes while he walked down the isle and shook hands with every person seated on the plane. It was really special, and I thought that was a tremendously classy thing for him to do. Happy Birthday, Mr. President.

Indeed. An incredibly awful president (the worst until Brandon) but a good man. A very good man. I believe that is how he will prefer to be remembered, as well.
