Knob & Tube Wiring

David: **The answer is no. **However - I went to the house which is currently gutted and a construction site - to confirm that nobody could have seen or found the now exposed - but at the time of my inspection concealed knob & tube wiring.

I called the former customer and explained my findings and position in this matter. The telephone conversation ended on friendly terms, and I have reason to believe that the homeowner understood the limitation of visual inspections.

That was a great thing to do. I had a lady do that once because the carpet installers ripped out the carpet and told her I should have advised her of mold in the house and she should sue me. The center of the rubber back carpet had a patch about 10 around. When I asked her how they found it she told me it was when they ripped the carpet out. I explained as you said… “visual inspection” She understood completely.
The fact that you took time to address his concerns probably was the best time you could have spent. Great going.
