Last month employment stats say something interesting

— 142,000 new people were employed.
— Almost 2.5 million additional jobs filled.

Huh?

How can 2.5 new jobs get filled if only 142,000 new people got them? That’s not possible. Is it?

Well, it is. There is one scenario that allows this to be possible. That is that people who ALREADY have full time jobs, took on additional part-time jobs. What’s that say?

What report are you referring to? The BLS report only shows 261,000 jobs added last month.

These numbers don’t line up with the August, September, or October reports.
