life expectancy chart

Does anyone have a source where I can find a good life expectancy chart, preferably one from a trade, building, or maintenance organization that includes adjustments for different climates?

I know these are only estimates and I have several of these numbers from various authors from different parts of the country but just thought there might be a master list somewhere?

Thanks.

David,

Go to www.inspection1.com and look for the life expectancy chart. I think it has cost associated with it as well.

Gerry and James,

Great link. I jumped around the site too. Unfortunately and naturally, they follow ASHI standards. ![icon_evil.gif](upload://1gvq2wV2azLs27xp71nuhZOKiSI.gif)

Any idea where they copied the life spans and life cycle costs from?

I would say the cost info is very outdated.

For instance, a 200 amp service upgrade is listed as $450-$585. Cost in NJ. $1,600+

Gas water heater priced at $383+. Cost in NJ $700 +

The cost for anything will vary given the geographic area and economics.

Hi to all,

I think a one size fits all for pricing is bound to be wrong, but the life cycle info is great. I for one would never quote repair or replacement costs for any system.
