I dropped the radon and inspection is tomorrow.
The logs are pretty dry and long overdue for a finish coat/staining. They absorbed moisture pretty quickly. Chinking seemed fine.
Looking for a little help to understand/describe the severity of what is going on with the logs in the photos attached. These are the worst areas.
I have gone through the log home course, but looking for advice from an expert eye…

all images are upside down
sap bleed, microbial growth, rot damage & woodpecker
if you don’t know these basics you may want to help them find someone that does, collaborate with them & pass on this until you have a better understanding of log properties
