Good Afternoon everyone,
I’m recently licensed in Florida , looking for opportunities in either joining a firm or the opportunity to shadow a seasoned inspector for a few days to gain more field experience and gain more knowledge of Florida specific issues that inspectors encounter. I’m in Broward county, I have no issues going to Dade and the lower Palm Beach county (Boca Raton).
Any lead will also be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Hi Jean, welcome to the MB. There is a TON of information in the archives of this MB you may find helpful. It certainly helped me over a decade ago and continues to this day.

They meet monthly (in Ft. Lauderdale?).

Long time (OG) inspection instructor Manny Gonzalez (contact General Home Inspections & Training at 786-301-0716) is in Miami(?) area. Still offers classes.
All these resources have people that you can speak/network with to find South Florida specific answers and information.
Good luck
