I’m looking to see if there is anyone in the Sarasota to Punta Gorda area that may or want to take on an internship or just wanna help me with going around and learning your techniques and experience. I am still taking the course with 9 to go so I just want to get out and be in the field and learn. Thanks in advance.
Michael, contact some CMIs or CPIs within 40 to 50 miles, or closer, to your area and communicate with them. Maybe one, or more, will help you. Some inspectors feel as though they are training their competition by ride-alongs or mentoring or hiring.

I am an internachi member. I’m just trying to finish up the course so I can take my test and move on to becoming an inspector.

You can reach out directly to certified inspectors in your area. Email them and ask if you can participate in inspections.
