Age is a factor in condition of any component. A roof that is new is different then a roof that is 20 years old. Even with all things equal (no leaks)

A boiler 20 years old may be perfectly serviceable but in line for replacement as a new one may be markedly more efficient. It’s not a defect per se but surely something folks need to be aware of.

In my area I see a lot of appliances that have the installation date written on them and I note it on the report to help the client out, I also note that it was written on it by someone.

Should we not give our clients as much information as possible, based on our knowledge, experience, and investigative skills?
