One of the largest environmental charity organizations in the country, the Environmental Education Foundation (http://www.enviro-ed.org), has been conducting "Mold Awareness" training classes for home/building inspection professionals around the country and they have several upcoming events around the county as well as online.

This online intensive class is an interactive, instructor led program designed to home inspection professionals the overall consequences of water intrusion and moisture as it relates to mold, mold growth and related insurance claims/legal liability.

Scheduled dates are: February 25th & 26th, March 23rd & 24th, April 27th & 28th, May 25th & 26th, June 29th & 30th, July 27th & 28th, August 24th & 25th, September 28th & 29th, October 26th & 27th, November 16th & 17th, December 14th & 15th 2004

NACHI members can register for $295.00 - that is a $200.00 discount off the registration price of $495.00.

The training is being conducted by one of the largest environmental charity organizations in the country, the Environmental Education Foundation. The class runs 2pm to 5pm eastern time each day.

This intensive seminar will focus on the basics of mold; what it is, why it's an issue and what to do about it. The class will also provide a template for an "Operations & Maintenance" (O&M) plan - for water intrusion and mold management - an essential piece of documentation for every home inspector.

What's Included: The 200+ page course book; a customizable O&M plan, a copy of the EPA endorsed software I-BEAM and one years worth of continuing updates from the EEF.
