NACHI Chapter Announcements

Nick or Dave, or ???

Is there a way for Chapter Presidents to obtain a list of NACHI members who live in the area or region of that chapter.

My reason for asking is that I'm still trying to recruit more members for our chapter. We only have 5

When I go to the "findaninspector.us" to send out announcements, it's very time consuming having to copy and paste the "subject" then the main announcement.

Having a list of NACHI members living within a 40-60 mile radius, and arranged in delineated comma format would be helpful and more productive.

I'd be happy with just a plain list of members and emails from the area. I can set up the format myself.

Any suggestions?

I can do much better than that from now on…

Staff sends out snail mail for every http://www.nachi.org/events.htm where the announcement is made 30 days or more in advance of the meeting.

If you are having an upcoming meeting, let us know in advance and we will pack the room.

All we need is the info at the bottom of http://www.nachi.org/form.htm

This is not intended to be a big event. I was just looking for a list that I could utilize to send out. But here is what I have posted in the Chapter Meeting board.

Hello everyone

There will be a free 3 hour seminar for local NACHI members from the following company:

Simpson Strong-Tie presented by Jerry Tuggle

This is a general outline of the course but geared toward inspectors:
These workshops are designed especially for engineers, architects, and specifiers interested in learning about proper connections. Detailed information will be provided on Strong-Tie products for wood framed construction. Special attention is given to the changing building codes and insurance issues.

The date of this training session would be February 23, 2005

Time would be from 9 AM to 12 PM.

Location: Tentatively: Community Center of the Orchards Mall in Benton Township. 1800 Pipestone Rd, Benton Harbor, MI. 49022.
Enter at Entrance #1 between Sears and Elder Bermans Dept. Store. Community Center is straight through next to Radio Shack.

Please pass this on to other inspectors in your area who may be interested in attending.

Rolls and coffee will be served before the session. Registration will begin at 8:30 AM.

I would like to discuss the goals of our chapter after the training session and receive your feedback.

It is important that I receive a confirmation of your attendence by January 15th via email or phone.

We look forward to seeing you there.
