Not sure of the age, but if it is a rheem (which it looks like) there may be a recall on it if it was built between 92-96, go here to check it out.

MLS says it was purchased in 2001. Doesn’t mean it was manufactured then… All the more reason now to find out manufacturer for sure, and I now need to confirm age.
