A kitchen is not a single inspection item, it is a combination of multiple systems such as mechanical, electrical, appliances, and plumbing and further interior type components such as cabinets, floors, ceilings and walls. I would need time, it will be extensive. What’s the pay rate? LOL.
How about $100/change? Do it.
I don’t see any errors other than the sink slightly above the dishwasher. But have at it.
I was just kidding about the money but it was a fair offer! Honestly, I think members will chime in and add enough inspection points to make it a viable training illustration. I am just too covered up at the moment to really focus on it.
Oh, no. I don’t want anything added. It’s not an image of EVERYTHING you inspect for. That would be a mess. Imagine trying to do that with one image of a service panel, LOL.
I just want errors corrected.
Well, how about larger categories and point to those things? Basically so the inspector is reminded of all of the systems in one tight space.

Exactly. IMO there’s no such thing as a “Kitchen Inspection”.
It is a bad drawing, done by someone who doesn’t understand perspective. The countertop is no wider than the cabinets above it. This is wrong. A standard countertop is 2 feet wide, Upper cabinets are only 1 foot. Cabinet attachment is specifically excluded in your own SOP. No where does any SOP tell you to check for grease. Plumbing should be checked for completeness before any attempt is made to run the dishwasher. It might be helpful to have the doors open under the sink, but your artist has so many perspective problems with this drawing I don’t think he could do that.
What should be done is to simply take a photograph of a kitchen counter and cabinets from the desired viewing angle and then trace the converging lines of countertop wall corner and cabinets to gain the correct perspective and add the other elements.
Even the Old Masters did tracings. They had an optical device called a camera lucida that would project an image onto a piece of paper - sort of like an overhead projector working backwards. Modern version here:
Adding outlets with a GFCI outlet on either side of the sink to the image would be my top recommendation
Or make-up air.
A good point. Not needed in every home but certainly could part of the mechanical evaluation, eh?
And as you pointed out above… so much more. I’m swamped too, hope to have time to address this more soon.
Agreed. Fixed.
Come’n Guys!
The only thing missing in this pretty kitchen drawing is the “Barbie Doll”…
That could be a very long inspection in that kitchen.
Sink fixed.
