Old oil burner furnace abandoned in crawlspace

I discovered this abandoned in the crawlspace of a 1950’s home. I assume it is an old oil burner furnace. I couldn’t get very close due to piles of trash and debris in my way. Rarely see any of these around here. I did not find any signs of a tank or lines left. What are the chances of any left over fuel or issues with the unit? What’s the best way to write this up? Thanks for any direction.

Describe what you see and what you suspect as possible…
If that is an abandoned oil heater/furnace the chances are good that they didn’t properly dispose of the oil storage tank either. And, that could get expensive.
