The sparky might not have had a 25a breaker on the truck but they are readily availlable

But I have heard from electrical designers that actual field conditions with older breakers could trip at between 150% to 200% of the rated load ... so that the possibility of the breaker not tripping at 2 times the rated load should be considered. Or is that just an old electrical engineer's wives tale.
