Bugfart has been boasting about members of PHIC who have been visited by process servers lately, but I can’t find anyone to confirm this has actually occurred. I can’t believe he would knowingly post something on this BB that wasn’t absolutely true and verifiable, so I ask:

Who was served?
When?, and
Why?

And where did you get your information anyway?

Good advice, Todd. I received the following PM from Bushart this afternoon, who also wants me to press the matter.

Try a little harder. You've only managed to enflame your mole, a Canadian anonymous poster, and a few of the regulars. Shouldn't this be a big article in your blog where you have full editorial control?

My favorite part is Joe arguing for an expulsion for ethics while he has two complaints before the committee that I have argued that he not be expelled. How is that for irony?

Hey, tomorrow after you cut your dad's grass, how about really going at it on the process server baloney. That one has some potential. You will have to juice it up more than you did, for I don't think your gallery caught on to what you were trying to do there.

Good luck. Give my regards to Chadwick.

So I'll ask again.

Mr. Bushart, how do you know that members of PHIC have been served? I am told this never happened.

I've deduced that either you are a liar or you are dumb, and I don't think you're dumb.

If so, good job Nick.

Gosh Nick, don’t get so heated. I can remember a time when you wished for one of me in every state.

You didn't crush PHIC. A judge reversed a judgement against NACHI based on a technical problem with how you were (or were not) served. That does not speak to the merit of their claim against you in any way, it just says you weren't properly served. Hardly the kind of thing I'd characterize as "crushing" someone.

Why do I care? To tell you the truth, though I wish them the best, I really don't care much about PHIC.

I just try extra hard to shine bright lights on false or misleading statements that you and the latest in your line of dimwitted synchophants (Bushart) make. I'll continue to do it here until you ban me.

Here's an offer for you: You claim NACHI has 10,000 members? Show me proof that as of 3PM today, NACHI has just 5000 full-dues-paying members, and you can fill the NACHI dunk tank with Realtor pee, and I'll sit there wearing Bushart's grandmother's pink party dress throughout your entire convention. I'll even stay late to make sure everyone who wants to, gets a couple of throws.

That might raise a few bucks for the NACHI Foundation.

But isn’t your Dad a member of ASHI or am I wrong? It is germane to my answer.

I learned something from the IRS. I’m no longer in any hurry to retaliate, like I used to when I was young. I take my time and do it right.

Hi, Nick,

Hey, while Morrison is trying to find his dad to ask him if he belongs to ASHI, I have a question for you.

What does an owner of a multi-inspector firm need to do to join NACHI? She is not a home inspector.

We can’t prohibit her from joining if she can fulfill http://www.nachi.org/membership.htm and many multi-inspector firm owners join just to get the enormous internet exposure of being listed on www.FindanInspector.US and www.InspectorSEEK.com

However, it is probably best that she instead have one of her lead inspectors join as a member but list her contact information, not his. We wouldn't want him to get any funny ideas about going into business for himself ![icon_wink.gif](upload://ssT9V5t45yjlgXqiFRXL04eXtqw.gif) .

All of her inspectors are NACHI, but one. At one time, they all had to belong to ASHI but times…they are a-changing.

Since most of her inspectors are NACHI, would there be a problem if she displayed the NACHI logo on her web site next to the ASHI logo?

She, her husband, and all of her inspectors plan to be in attendance at the St. Louis Metro East Conference on 8/13. She can discuss all of this with you, personally, at that time.

Sure, our logos are at http://www.nachi.org/logos.htm

Back on topic now. I'll give Morrison some credit for making predictions (although he hasn't been very good at it).

It takes some bravery to make predictions, regardless.

For fun, (and I don’t save much that I read… mostly because I don’t read much)… however just for fun… I saved most every prediction of NACHI’s demise over the years. Morrison’s, OHandley’s, Hannigan’s, Gladstone’s, Kelly’s, Milne’s, etc. I am too much a gentlemen to rub it in their face now that we ARE the inspection industry, by posting them all. That isn’t the point. I saved them to help inspire me to work harder. It worked. Anyway, as much as I dislike this bunch and even though we now know their predictions were wrong… I give them some credit for publicly making them.

I’ll make a prediction (I hate to be outdone icon_smile.gif ):

I'll keep it on topic (PHIC) too...

The Judge's ruling against PHIC and in favor of NACHI only removed their judgment... it didn't dismiss their case against us. I still have to fly back to Philly on the 25th and appear in court to defend NACHI against their complaint. Anyway... I'll make a prediction...

When Kelly, Milne, and company get a load of the dragonetti action coming their way... I predict they have only one recourse... to drop their last existing claim against NACHI. I predict they'll do it voluntarily... which will say EVERYTHING. I also predict they'll make me buy the plane ticket and so don't expect a Praecipie to Discontinue until the 24th. Nevertheless, I predict the little sissies won't ever want to meet me in court or a dark alley... and so the little sissies will voluntarily file a Praecipie to Discontinue their own claim. Won't that be something?!!!

Shoot. I kind of liked my dunk tank idea.

OK, How 'bout this? Prove that as of 4PM today, NACHI has just 2500 full-dues-paying members and I'll sing "You are My Sunshine" to Joe Burkeson at the NACHI convention kickoff.

Jim, I can prove it in September when NACHI’s 2004 990’s are made public… I can wait that long to once again make yet another one of your predictions fall short. In any case… they will be posted here like previous years for all to see you were wrong again. Get out your NACHI basher egg scraper in preparation icon_lol.gif .

Anyway... to get back on topic... I called our attorney, and PHIC already filed a Praecipe to Discontinue their own case. Like I said... they don't want to meet me in court or a dark alley.
