Playing golf with the old timers...

On the 14th of February I will be completing one of the items from my bucket list and playing in a Pro Am professional Golf Tournament at Twin Eagles in Naples, Florida.

It is the champions tour and several of my favorite golfers are going to be there and I just hope I get lucky enough to get paired with them!

To play in a professional golf atmosphere and setting should be rather neat. Spectators, officials, Pros…man I can’t wait!

If your in SW Florida and love golf, stop in have fun, watch your favorite pro and drink a little beer and most of all enjoy SW Florida…

Awesome… Enjoy it.

I have photographed a lot of pro am tournaments for charity and it is always a good time.
One year 2 guys won a Corvette on a hole in one.

They were a little worried about if the second guy would get one also but the dealer stepped up. Most figured once it was gone it was gone but they did right and gave away 2.

That’s awesome Russ, enjoy!

That is sweet city dude, have fun

That is awesome, Russ.

Who is going to be there? There are a lot of “young guns” nowadays.

I would love to play a round with Lefty or Bubba Watson, he crushes those drives. I saw him down in Akron two years ago…stunning how hard he hit it.

Have fun, my man.

Rocco Mediate
Tom Watson
Steve Elkington
Duffy Waldorf
Gene Sauers
Hale Irwin
Tom Kite
Bernhardt Langer
Curtis Strange
Kenny Perry

Just to name a few…Should be freakin awesome. I can’t wait!

Gonna play with the LPGA in a Pro Am in November as well. Might just start playing in them more often

The girls were always fun. I photographed them for at least 10 years. likely 99% of the photos at the below site were taken by me. I knew the girl that died and donated my time every year. It was one long A S S day. Everyone went home with a group shot with their pro and graphics saying the name and year of the tourney. Shot, edited, printed and delivered all in one day.

How did you get invited to that , Russ?

Any television airings?

=D>This is for your eagle!

Invited? My friend Benjamin Franklin and many of his twins got me in

Pay to play, thats how a Pro Am works and it is a way that they raise some of the money for the winnings…
