The Lowes Braided Flex line with attached tag is the clue to Harry Homeowner and bud’s installation prowess. The PVC is seeing it done on HGTV without understanding the WHY…!!!

Plastic pipe and fittings used to vent appliances shall be installed in accordance with the appliance manufacturer’s installation instructions.

Yep your right, because a plumber would hard pipe it so you have to call them to fix it.
