Hi To all,
sorry for the lack of QOD’s during the last week, the convention just kept me running around like a lunatic.
As so many enjoyed the Commercial set I did a few weeks ago I thought I’d do a week of new construction issues.
Regards
Gerry

Whats the question?
The item in your pic looks to be a metel plate used on wooden studs to guard wires from folks like me who have hammers and nails ect. , but still do not know how to use them.
OK, now I see the poll.
I can remember installing these plates in the late 80’s
The choice is not available for what is acceptable in Phoenix. So I will pick the lessor.
Whats the excuse for before and after the convention;)

Good to have you back
Thanks, believe me it’s good to be home

Gerry
Hint.
A 2 X 4 is actually 1-1/2 by 3-1/2 and the normal auger used for drilling holes for wires is 1/2-3/8 and sometimes 3/4 in the kitchen walls due to range wires.
You went over this during your new construction class. I guess all of us that were there have an advantage.
Only if you were listening.
Was that you snoring at the back Larry ?
