Check the IRC, UBC, the BBC oh wait don’t look there nothing but Benny Hill jokes.

Then look up the Dupont “Tyvek” installation instructions.

It’s fun. It’s entertaining. It’s just down right amazing!!!

Hi Todd,

You can also check it with the IRS, but be careful, they’ll want 30% of whatever the biggest # is

Gerry

30% I will stick to the BBC.

Hi to all,

I can’t decide if this was a brilliant question or a terrible one, here’s why

the correct answer (IRC) is ***2 inch horizontal and 6 inch vertical

*****However, this is the classic case of code being the minimum standard as most manufacturers of siding paper actually recommend a bigger overlap, in the case of Tyvek their installation guides recommend 6 inches at all laps and 12 inch laps around corners

Gerry
