Adhering to the label means that one nail on each jamb would comply with the directions. So following the directions are supposed to make it safe huh?

See if you can find the companion to this. It is the instructions for trimming the legs and then the next picture is of the legs…not trimmed!


Added with edit: The funny thing about this installation was that whoever did it countersunk the screws further weakening the frame. I was leery going up and down those stairs as I had just eaten lunch!
