Questionable factory-built chimney installation on manufactured home

This is topic is about a factory-built chimney on the roof of a manufactured home.

I called out the manufactured chimney for terminating less than 3 feet off of the roof and for not having any flashing. Does that sound right to you?

Does the termination point of this manufactured chimney look defective to you?

It looks like there’s some apron flashing behind the spark arrestor. Or is that a normal component to see behind the spark arrestor?

Is there any standard that prohibits the installation of a fireplace in a manufactured home?

I wouldn’t write it up unless I had MFGs instructions stating otherwise, but I would be recommending further evaluation by a level II chimney inspector.
