Many issues as mentioned above.
Get the model number off the unit and internet search “Rheem model “xyz123” installation instructions” most if not all of the answers to your question(s) (and references for your clients) will typically be in the installation instructions.
PS. download the PDF file of the instructions and keep it for your records for quick reference if needed again.

Most furnaces sit on wood, typically it’s not an issue. But it appears there are some exhaust venting issues. I have written two articles that may be helpful to you. Links below.

Wood Platforms are OK, used often but usually coated or painted.
Everything else … NO
