it’s a junction box if there’s only a wire junction in it.
It’s an outlet box if there’s an outlet in it.
It’s a fixture box if it’s a light fixture mounted to it.
They are all accessible if once you remove the fixture, the outlet, or the lid, unless they are mounted wrong.
An outlet can be a receptacle, switch, luminaire, lamp holder, or other devices.
