Most people are right-handed. originally faucet handles were on the right. When dual temperature faucets were invented, the cold stayed on the right and the hot option was added to the left side.
Stars convert material into heat and light through a process called nuclear fusion. They continue to burn for billions of years. Even after they burn out, the light emitted during the star’s lifetime continues to travel through space in all directions. Some stars we can see in the night sky have already burnt out many years ago.
Main stack should have at least One vent pipe terminating to the outside.
Marc Cohn sang

Their cold-water environment gives them a distinctive taste and texture that has made them a beloved delicacy around the world.
Well… … … … … … … … Bert Hull & Scott Bridges got them all correct!
(for question #1 I had the answer was fixed beam or encastered beam)
(for question #5 I had the answer was building drain, one)
A highly respected, illustrious member helped me out that their answers are acceptable.
Scroll down to entry #9 at the Inspector Hall of Fame to find out who.

3) Why is hot on the left, cold on the right? During the 19th century when indoor plumbing was first introduced, water was brought into the home by way of a hand pump and this supplied cold water. Considering that the vast majority of people were right-handed, the pump was placed on the right side of the sink. When hot water was later introduced, it made sense then to put this new tap on the opposite side of the cold water tap – the left!
