So i was at a home today to set a radon Unit.
He (Home Owner) proudly showed me his Pro Series 3 Radon Gas Detector.
I ask him where he got it and he said Craig’s list and it a home inspector selling it. When i looked at it there was a note saying do not tamper or move radon testing present.( he was using this doing home inspections). He had 5 listed . Also he had a business card with his proud ASHI memebrship.
My questions is their anyone using these to do a test?
I have one in my own home that I use to monitor long term levels.
It gives no reading until after 48 hours and is intended as a home owner device only.
It is not intended for professional use and as to being EPA approved I say prove it.
