Had the grandkids up 2 days ago. They saw and counted a group of 14 in the back yard. They were so excited because they only see them here, and not in the metro area they live in. Nice vid!!
Sorry for you losing a part of the family Ryan. It’s never easy, but time heals most all emotional pains. I lost my “pup” after 15 years. One of the hardest things I every faced in my life so far, was digging the hole to have to bury her. Reality hits you hard to say the least.
RIP Tobie 2000-2015.
Thanks to everyone for your comments. Home inspectors really like dogs it turns out, lol.
Cute little guy (girl?) from Google.
Sorry for your loss, Ryan.
3 jars of canned chili that I cooked for my 94 and 92 year old Dad and Mom. I took them some back in the fall, and Dad now insist that I bring it to them when their out of it and I’m coming for visit. Says I can’t come without it!
You can bring some of that to me Tom, if You jump in the car right now You can be here tomorrow afternoon with it…
When I get a perfection on the seal, I’ll mail you some Jim. Promise and FOC…
Got up early yesterday to try to get some pictures of the setting “Snow Moon” , the last full moon of winter. Turns out taking a good picture of the moon with a drone is tough.
Tom , way to help your parents.
Awesome picture Michael!
Well don’t ship it by USPS in a glass jar. I shipped 8 small very tough jars of sauce to someone a few years ago. I wrapped each jar in bubble wrap, then put them in a box with a tremendous amount of cushioning. Then wrote fragile on each side of the box. I think that was just seen as a challenge, lol. When the person received it, every single jar was broke and it looked like they had dropped kicked it into and out of the trucks. I wish I still had the pictures.
And that is where the problem comes in. They laugh at “fragile” and like to see if it is. I stopped doing that and haven’t had a problem since. Go figure…
You have to ship fragile stuff box in a box. Everything you did in the first box then put that box in a second box with some kind of barrier in between.
I used to ship very expensive, very fragile laser scan heads globally. Finely ground lenses and mirrors, on average 20k per box.
Sometimes the box arrives as if it’s gone through a bowling machine…the scan head? Good to go.
Correct. there are “problems” everywhere.
Dang guberment employees.
