I know a lot of you guys are Ford Folks, but my brother-in-law’s son’s GMC truck is one bad ass ride!

And that’s a pretty beefy Silverado parked next to it.

I can’t look at a new truck without thinking about this:

That GMC sure looks nice! It would look good next to my Duece

I’m a Ford guy (but drive a Ram currently, lol). But that is a good looking rig right there.

Is that your Grandson? He looks a bit toasty! Imagine how the drivers are feeling inside the car with all their gear on, lol.

Yes, that’s one of many. He’ll be 8 next month.

The weather was as good as it gets this time of year. Hot, humid (sticky). We all looked like Trump when it was over. Our skin had a thin layer of GA red clay dust from the track. Everything was orange.

I was tasked with putting a bandaid on a steel pipe used to fill the cement silos this afternoon. It jad a hole in it and would leak cement powder when the neumatic powder trucks would be unloading. The top of the silo is about 7 stories high (give or take a little), and the hole was on the elbow . Had to slightly hang off the edge of the top to put the temporary patch on.

View from the top.

Leak in pipe

Bandaid, silicone to plug the hole and wrapped with gum rubber. Should hold till winter when a new elbow can be welded in.

Our small town puts on a 3rd of July event every year for Independance Day, so last night while the fireworks were a boomin, I decided to check it out with my thermal imaging drone for no other reason than I could.

Some of the digital images from the same drone:
