Hello mastermind group…
I am taking part in the Fall Realtor Con Ed in which I will have a booth for the trade show and the theme this year is favorite TV show.
I wanted to poll Home Inspectors on the top 5 most common things they find during a Home Inspection.
Mine are…
Inadequate Site Drainage/Missing Downspouts
Missing or defective GFCIs
Double Tapped Breakers
Plumbing Leaks
Deferred Maintenance (Missing caulk, chipping paint, clogged gutters…)
I appreciate all the input and am curious to see what everyone’s top 5 are.

My inspection software will sort my comments by most used. Here is what it came up with for the top 20. Note: I do a lot of older homes.

Ryan, I’m thinking I remember you being a Spectora user. If so, how do you get that report? I would love to use it to clean up my templates.

Go to your template and in upper right hand corner, click on the three dots. Then select “export to spreadsheet.” There will be tons of info colums in the spreadsheet so just delete or hide the colums you don’t want to see.
